About CMS-Tech The proprietor Alan J. Cliff has been involved in the electronics industry since taking up an electronics technician's apprenticeship with GEC in 1971. After completing his training he stayed with GEC for 11 years working on MOD Naval contracts. Alan then worked overseas for Northrop Aircraft Corp in Saudi Arabia before returning to the UK and moving to Norfolk in 1984 to take up an appointment with a Norwich based Precision Test & Measurement Company. Whilst working for various companies Alan's main passion has been Motor Cruising with 21 years practical offshore boating experience, obtaining Coastal skipper RYA/Dti qualifications, he also has been a joint owner of a Broom off-shore motor cruiser since 1981. In 2002 Alan decided to combine his work and leisure activities to offer his skills to both the boating industry and the private owner, creating a new business based at Brundall.
